Q. Who is INLD?

A. International Network for Leadership Development (INLD), is a known and trusted mission organization started by one of our sending churches, Crossroads Bible Church, with missionaries and pastors serving in North America, Europe and Asia.

Q. How did you decide on INLD as your new organization?

A. INLD was an option we considered back in 2018 when we were trying to make our initial decision on a mission agency. The fact that we have known the church for nearly 30 years (Aaron grew up there), and we have a shared ministry focus and philosophy make INLD an excellent organization for us to partner with.

Q. Are you guys staying in Slovakia?

A. Yes! We will continue living in Žilina, Slovakia and remain members of our church here, Za Kostolom. Our day to day life rhythms won’t be affected much by this transition. We love the fact that Slovakia is still our home!

Q. Why wasn't it working with Josiah Venture?

A. Shortly after arriving in Slovakia in 2019, Megan and I realized that our expectations and desires for what ministry partnership would look like while serving with JV were not the same as what JV expected of us. Megan and I were committed to pursuing common ground with JV to move forward with workable solutions for both sides, but at the same time, we acknowledged that this might not be the best fit for the flourishing of our life and ministry. 

After a year of conversation, discernment, prayer, and fasting, we have decided that for us to have a more effective kingdom contribution, it would serve us well to continue our ministry with another like-minded organization.

Q. Since there are still members of your church in leadership with Josiah Venture Slovakia, will you still have opportunity to serve that ministry?

A. Great question. We are very hopeful that following this transition we will still be able to work alongside Josiah Venture in a variety of different ways as we continue serving leaders and churches in this region.
